The PDA group of companies is privileged and delighted to be one of the three Founder Supporters of the City of London Guild Of Entrepreneurs.
The heritage of the Guilds and Livery Companies, in the City of London, stretches back over 800 years. The reach of the Guilds and Companies touches our lives in more ways than most people realise; everyday phrases and names such as ‘masterpiece’, ‘City & Guilds’, ‘carnival float’ and ‘sixes and sevens’ are but a few that are attributed to the rich histories surrounding the Guilds and Companies.
The Guilds and Companies support the industries to which they are associated and the City Of London, as well as providing educational and charitable leadership and support. One of PDA’s directors, Neil Partridge, sits on the Court of the Guild and is also one of the director-trustees of the Guild’s Charitable Trust.
On 24 November 2014, following years of planning and strict due process, the Guild Of Entrepreneurs had its official launch at Ironmongers’ Hall in the City of London, in the presence of the Rt. Hon. the Lord Mayor, the Sheriffs, Masters and Clerks representing over half of the City’s (then) 110 Livery companies, as well as numerous guests.
